About the workA five-movement early ensemble work commissioned by Janus Ensemble Vienna. Classical fragments and memories are deliberately transformed: Beethoven, Bach, Grieg, Scarlatti and the composer’s own earlier sketches pass through echo-like, distorted and quodlibet textures.
