Piano repertoire for the Marsha Wright Sonatina Festival
Judit Varga’s Sonatine for solo piano appears in the Seattle Music Teachers Association’s repertoire suggestions for the Marsha Wright Sonatina Festival.
The association’s Creative Programming Possibilities list offers teachers and pianists alternatives to the familiar sonatina repertoire. Sonatine is included in the section devoted to works by women and non-European composers, alongside music by Grażyna Bacewicz, Germaine Tailleferre and others.
